My Organic School

Would you like to be part of an organic fruit & veggie box program starting at Avalon Public School? You will receive a $55 box of certified organic produce weekly after school on Thursdays which will be approximately 40% cheaper than retail. Funds are saved from the program to teach healthy eating classes in the school's veggie garden. Parents working as a cooperative and helping pack the bulk produce into family boxes makes pesticide free produce affordable for everyone. Don't worry if you can't help to pack the boxes due to work commitments, you can still be a part of the co-op.

We have had great success starting cooperatives at Bronte, Clovelly, Waverley, Bourke St, Crown St, Woollahra, Balgowlah North, Birchgrove, Coledale, Bondi and paddington Public School. Not only is it a great way to acquire healthy, fresh nutritious produce it also brings like minded people together at the school and creates a healthy "real food community".
